The season is over, the laundry is dry, and while some teams are still playing, it’s time for us to take a look at this season in laundry.

If you’ve been reading this newsletter throughout the season, you know that Mets Laundry is the weekly(ish) edition of The Rally Towel. This has been the place to talk about all things jerseys, hats, patches, and wearable fan gear.

Most importantly, Mets Laundry has been where I kept track of the team’s success or lack thereof in each of their various jersey and hat combinations. Within this special edition, Laundry Lines became a goofy attempt to quantify the Mets’ success…via laundry. I kept a season-long tally in my notes app that ran from Spring Training until the last out of Game 162.

Instead of trying to cram an entire season’s worth of jersey and hat related pseudo-sabermetrics, I wrote a zine, which you can download here for FREE.

As always, a huge shout out to Ian for his jersey and hat graphics, because Mets Laundry would be a lot less fun to look at without his great work. Make sure you give him a follow on Instagram and hit him up for any graphic design needs!

Putting this zine together brought me a lot of joy after a season that ended pretty painfully. I hope you enjoy it!

The Rally Towel is, and will always remain, a labor of love and completely free to read. We pour a lot into this newsletter and the Mets Laundry 2025 zine. If you’ve enjoyed our work and have the means, consider buying us a cup of coffee! Your support helps keep the newsletter running.
